Great tips... I agree that we need to equip ourselves with the tools needed to have such a conversation with ourselves as well as others who might be in that state. I would suggest reading about CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) to anyone who wants to be able to have a base point to be able to such conversations. Also I think helping people in that state to see the positives in their lives is also something one could do. Its so scary to think about needing to have these conversations but alas... this is our reality.

If we go by sociological theories such as labeling theory; the mere act of being related to as a perpetrator often produces people that become that. Why are men so violent? Probably because we're assumed to be murders, violent young men etc., from birth, just for the fault of being born. And because of that we can never create the necessary connections that build empathy. Any attempt at it will often result in a cold shoulder, people treating you badly or just ignoring you altogether.

I have been a part of the new age spirituality community and self confidence/ love community. Apparently, dark feminine is a part of these types of communities . When i saw what it was about i was immediately like "I am not following this , it is wrong" . I never followed it and i never will . I am not a part of new age spirituality and self love/confidence community because i realized what was wrong with these communities. But even when i was a part of the community, i still never followed dark femininity trend because it was an immediate turn off .

So the person who shows up with the most expensive stuff on their body should have their dinner paid for by the other person? Because that was your reasoning, that makeup and clothes are expensive for the woman, and therefore the man should pay... So do all of the men that you go on dates with show up naked? Does their clothes automatically cost less because they are men? What if the man took 2 hours to do his hair, pick the outfit, trim or shave his beard, clean his shoes so that they're extra nice and clean, wears his most expensive cologne, trims his fingernails, like he literally just knocked out all of his self care for the week right before the date. Can he then ask the woman who took 1 hour to get ready to pay for the date, because he took longer and his shoes cost more than everything she's wearing that day? This rationale is dumb, and sexist from the bottom up if you really want to go there. Each person should just pay for what THEY PERSONALLY BOUGHT FOR THEMSELVES.... Plain and simple. If you WANT to pay for your date's food and drinks, that should be commended and seen as going above and beyond, wether it's the woman offering or the man, but it should not be a thing that you expect to happen with 100% certainty.
